Our feature for the month of November/December is Chaquese who owns Quesie's Children Boutique. Please read about our patient and her love for her business!
1) I'm a blessed mother of three beautiful children and the proud owner of Quesie's Children Boutique. Throughout my journey in high school and college I was an athlete. Basketball was my main sport. I played college basketball for Northwood University in Midland, Michigan where I graduated with an Associate degree in Business Administration and Bachelor degree in dual majors of Marketing/Management. I also went on to earn my Master degree in E-Business at University of Phoenix. With my educational background, I always wanted to become an entrepreneur.
2) Quesie's Children Boutique opened May 2014 based in Detroit, Michigan. We are proud to offer a wonderful selection of children's apparel and accessories with the sizes ranging from infants to tweens/teens. To provide you with an excellent shopping experience, we offer point-of-sale transactions via online purchases, various mom-to-mom sales and vendors/expos shows locally throughout Michigan.
3) I picked this business because of the love and the experiences I have when shopping for clothing for my own children. I wanted something manageable that didn't take a lot of quality time away from the needs of my children.
4) I was always engaged about the opportunity and the operations of ownership. What I love about my business is that I get to get out and meet new people when I'm out participating in vendor events, I'm able to give back to the community and allows me to continue to be a positive role model for my children. It's very manageable, so if my children wanted to take over they are welcome to do so.
5) I want people to know that Quesie's Children Boutique is affordable, carries a great selection of apparel and accessories and mobile to cater vendor events and fund raisers.
